What Uptone will never do
Beauty tools have a bad history of making people feel worse to sell more. These are commitments about how this product behaves, not marketing copy.
We never score how you look
Uptone has no attractiveness rating, no percentile, no ranking against anyone else. We will not build one. A tool that scores your face gives you a number to feel bad about, not a decision you can act on.
We never call a feature a flaw
Nothing in Uptone fixes, hides or corrects a feature. Your features are the starting point, not a problem. When we explain a choice, we say what it works with — never what it makes up for.
You stay recognisable
A result that no longer looks like you is a failure, even if it is beautiful. When we have to choose, we take the less dramatic result that still reads as you.
Our guesses are guesses until you say otherwise
Colour family, face shape, eye shape — we suggest these, and they stay marked as suggestions until you confirm them. You can change any of them at any time, and your corrections outrank our analysis.
We do not diagnose
Uptone is not a dermatologist and will not behave like one. We do not assess skin conditions, recommend treatments, or suggest cosmetic procedures, injectables or surgery.
We do not comment on your body
Uptone does not remark on weight, body size, age or perceived ethnicity, and does not offer to change them.
We do not use pressure to sell
No countdown timers, no fake scarcity, no invented purchase activity, and no suggestion that something about you needs fixing before you buy. Prices and renewal dates are shown before you pay.
If something feels wrong
Every result has a “Does this still feel like you?” control. Telling us a result missed is the single most useful thing you can do — it changes what we show you next, and it is how we find out when the product is behaving badly.
